What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are widely used to make websites work and to provide information to website operators.
Cookies We Use
Outstanding uses only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies.

Why We Don't Need Cookie Consent
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of a service are exempt from consent requirements. All cookies listed above fall into this category: they are required for authentication and security, and the service cannot function without them.
We have chosen to inform you about these cookies as a matter of transparency, even though consent is not legally required.
What We Do NOT Use
- No Google Analytics or other analytics tools
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No third-party cookies of any kind
- No fingerprinting or other tracking technologies
Local Storage
We use browser local storage (not cookies) for two small items:
- Last login provider: remembers whether you last signed in with Google or email, so we can show a "Last used" hint on the login page. This contains no personal information.
- Cookie banner dismissal: remembers that you have dismissed the cookie information banner so it does not appear again.
Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Outstanding.
